MarketPlace Leichhardt was proud to support local schools during Education Week 2008. As part of the local event program, schools in the Leichhardt area came together to showcase their talents and perform an Education Week Concert.

MarketPlace Leichhardt has an annual tradition of celebrating Education Week with the community and it is an event that we look forward to presenting each year.

On May 25 2007, MarketPlace Leichhardt sponsored the 39th Italian National Ball, a fundraising event by Co.As.It Sydney. A record amount was raised on the evening, allowing Co.As.It to open a new respite day are centre in the Inner West to provide care for people living with dementia.
